370GT has arrived!!!
370GT has arrived!!!
After waiting over 2 months, I finally took delivery of my new Skyline Coupe this morning. It is a perfect replacement for my 2005 350GT and I have included a picture for reference. Not the best pictures this time, but wanted to get something up quickly.
1st shot is nice because I was able to catch 3 generations of Skylines together.
2nd shot is the rear end with the Nissan 'hamburger' mark and 370GT emblems removed.
3rd is an interior shot for those who may have wanted to see the JDM interior.
And 4th is a picture of the camera mounted on the left mirror. Hope everyone enjoys, and please contact me if you have any requests for pictures.

Surprised you removed the 370GT logo- they look much cooler than the G37S logo.
Those diagonal lines in the footwell carpet are odd. More pics please!
Mirror mounted camera is sweet!
Congrats on your new ride!

Also, I never noticed that the parking brake is on the opposite of the console in the RHD version compared to the driver side on ours. Cutting production costs by making only one part for both cars.

Everyone,
Thanks for the comments.
I guess I hadn't noticed that the floor mats are different. They are nice because they do say Skyline on them, where I think in my 350 they just said Nissan.
The grill is just like what y'all have in the States. It is all chrome, but I am thinking about taking it in and having someone black out the center section and leave the chrome strips. Only problem is the big chrome Nissan mark in the center, going to probably upgrade to the Infiniti mark for the grill, unless someone comes out with a nice looking replacement.
For debadging, I did the same on the old car and loved the look. While the 370GT badge may look good, it just throws off the entire balance of the rear end, so it had to go. Oh, and had the Nissan dealer take the badges off for me before I picked it up.
The parking brake on the left side of the console really bothered me on the old car, but have since gotten used to it. On my old 300zx, it was on the right hand side by me and I liked it there. But guess they have to try and keep costs down.
Here are a couple of other pics I took yesterday. I tried to show the Japanese language in the center section of the dash, but it didn't turn out too well. Nothing fancy, just a few more. I will try and take a couple more pics of the passenger side mirror if people are interested.

There is only one thing i must put out there that i dont agree with. HOW COULD YOU NOT GO WITH THE PEANUT BUTTER INTERIOR?! I would love to have those in my G. Im wondering if there is a possibility in purchasing and having those installed in my G.
Anotha-san,
I liked the peanut butter interior as well, problem is that it is not available with the 6 speed manual. Can't get the wood interior either, which made the wife happy, as she thinks that the peanut butter and wood make it too much of an old man's car, sorry in advance to any old men out there.
And just a few comments after taking the new car out for a drive in the mountains. Engine is still tight as I only have 150 kms on the car so far, but love how it handles. Even with 4 people inside it powered up and down the road very well, the throttle, clutch, shifter relationship is the way the 350GT/G35 should have been. The brakes have great bite and the ride is more forgiving while still handling the curves very well. I also love the turn in, and the way the steering is light at parking lot speeds, but loads up as speeds rise. Very happy with the car and look forward to working it out over the next couple of weeks and getting the engine to loosen up.
