G not starting

So I changed my clutch and now my G won’t start, I was told I could turn my crank pulley while mating the engine to trans to make it easier but I was thinking that made my car jump timing. PLEASE HELP I want my G back

have you gone back to check all your connections?
Make sure your camshaft position sensor is plugged in and is seated properly.

If you don't turn the crank backwards it will have no effect on the timing.
