problems with clutch. help fast please!!

the clutch on my 08 g37 coupe. is acting up. In the middle of driving it, the clutch would only engange half way. Now i parked my car, and i can depress the clutch to start the car, however it wont go into first gear. And if i put it into first gear and start the car, the car turns, but doesnt start. I need help please.

also when the car is off, the clutch only comes up halfway/the engaging point. and i gotta manually pull up the clutch pedal. I need answers or else i cant drive home. Help please!!

Relatively common issue-just describe the symptoms-the service manager will recognize the issue immediately -if this isn't his first day on the job. LOL good luck

"I was wondering if the clutch is covered under warranty too."

I know its NOT covered in Pre Certified Bumper to Bumper warranty as it is considered a wear and tear part.

i just got a call from infiniti they said it is just the clutch. and they are charging 1400. also if its a flywheel problem its an additional 1400 dollars.

additional information. i bought this car CPO in september of '09. Shouldnt everything be covered for atleast 12 months?

Jakex1, I'd need to read the warrenty booklet (you should have one with your car I think) that comes with the car again, but anyway here's PDF's of each booklet for each year:

Infiniti Vehicle Warranty - Infiniti USA

When i bought CPO infiniti and clearly asked the guy to explain the 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. Wear and tear parts are not included unless defected by the manufacturer. As for the 12 month guarantee? I doubt it considering the clutch can easily be messed up if you dont know how to drive a manual.

i aint saying you dont know how to drive manual... Im saying why they probably wont cover it because it would seem silly to put a warranty on driver error...
