Bluetooth HELP

I want to apologize beforehand if I placed this in the wrong forum (I've done so in the past on this website) but I think what I am asking is tech question. Anyways I have a 2013 g37, and just now I gotten a problem with my Bluetooth. I haven't driven the car this past week, and when I drove it today the Bluetooth screen (that displays the current song and "status") doesn't show up when I press it. And whenever I would play music, the car would play the song in a call to my own cell phone number and I am unable to hang up. I tried disconnecting my phone from the car Bluetooth and turning off and on the car's Bluetooth. But the song can only play by calling my phone. And whenever I press the Bluetooth/disc button it only goes to the disc screen, never the Bluetooth screen. I know my phone is connected cause whenever I turn off the car's Bluetooth my phone would start playing the song. I apologize for my explanation, its kinda hard for me to explain.

What kind of phone? I don't have NAV so no music streaming for me, but I do have Google Maps playing directions through my system as if it were an incoming call. It sounds like you've got something like that happening with your audio.

I would suggest deleting the phone from the car's system by clearing any stored Bluetooth devices. Then do the same on your phone, delete the device "my car" from the Bluetooth list. Now try setting up the connection again as if it's the first time and hopefully it will all work as expected.

Thanks for replying, I have a iphone 11. Luckliy I found out what was wrong, it wasn't the car it was the phone. My phone was holding a call in the background with out me knowing. I just reset my phone and its fixed.

That explains why you had me on hold for like 2 days! Glad you figured it out.
