Car won’t start, All electric shuts off while driving

Please Help! I have a 2012 Infiniti G37XS. A handful of times now when I get in it to start it I have no power. The center display on the gauges shows to push the brake + start button but it does not do anything. I have tried to insert the key into the repository slot with no luck. I have replaced the battery in the car as well as the battery in the key fob. Eventually with disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery and trying to start it I can get it started. When it does start every warning light (abs, awd, check engine, cruise control, etc) is on the dash. Once I clear the codes it runs flawless. It will start and run fine for a couple days then the same problem again and again and again. Also, twice now when it is running good while driving down the road I will loose all power to the car. All gauges, center lights, lcd display, all lights inside will shut off. Car while continue to run though. Eventually while driving the electrical components will come back on but will every warning light on as well. Two dealerships have turned me away so far and the only Infiniti dealer by me is over 2 hours away. Please if anyone has any idea as to what this might be it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Did you have the alternator tested?

Yes, the alternator is fine. When I keep trying to start it and it eventually starts it has full power. The battery isn’t going dead.

Would not hurt to check for water in/around/near the BCM (Body Control Module)- located behind the passenger side kick panel under the glove box. A wet floorboard would be a good indication. Also check for water at the IPDM/er (fuse box next to battery).

Make sure the negative battery clamp is tight and not working loose. It is a issue for some of these cars, mine included.

What are/were the codes you keep clearing? They might seem innocuous but they could offer more insight as to your root issue.

The battery connectors are new and tight. I replaced those when I replaced the battery. The PCM was mentioned to me before but I’m not sure how to test it other then looking for obvious water or cracks.

The codes were “fuel level indicator code” and “manufacturer code”

You will just have to check for the obvious. If there is water intrusion you will know it. Between the poorly designed sunroof drains and the firewall grommet, water intrusion is a issue for some of these cars.

It is difficult to diagnose your type of issue. Could be any number of connections that might be failing, working loose, short circuiting, etc. It is just a matter of checking everything thoroughly and taking things one step at a time.

Are you the original owner of this vehicle? If not when did you purchase it?
Was it purchased at an auction?
If you purchased used did you ever have a dealer run the VIN number and was this vehicle originally purchased in another state?

There are hundreds of thousands of vehicles that were involved in floods that were sold to unsuspecting buyers.
Your problem sounds to me like you have a flood vehicle
Carefully inspect your wiring harness for corrosion

Sounds like loose grounding strap or battery terminal

Dead post?

Hey, came across this dead post. Dealing with the exact issue on a 2010 AWD sedan. Curious if you found anything with this?

checked the floorboard for intrusion with no insight found.
No water found on IPDM
opened BCM with no damage or water found inside.

reinstalled all items with care after cleaning and issue returned.

things I’ve found while diag, alt is charging at 16v on this vehicle. Removed the alternator and tested good on 3 machines. Reinstalled new alt anyway, still 16v

i had a KAM communication code, and a loss of signal to HVAC control.
I’m at a loss, bought the car for a quick flip, ended up buried in some issues that weren’t disclosed.
