Jack Stand Locations

If you are using the pinch welds for jack stands, where do you fellas put the floor jack to jack up the vehicle? I have a AWD, anybody use the diff? With a puck on the jack that shouldn't hurt the outside case right?

I think I did control arms when I put mine up on stands to do the brakes. Might have done the transmission housing for the rear but I have a MT.

To get the front up I used to use the jacking point at the very front under the subframe as per the owners manual , but on swifts my ar is too low to get at it unless i drive up on some wooden boards at the front...but mostly I jack up the front from the sides under the cross brace at the outermost bolts as I have two jacks and can raise the car evenly before placing jack stands.

The rear jacking point in the owners manual is the rear diff its easy and accessible so I always use it to get the rear end up.
