My status screen showing high gas consumption.

Hey guys,

My 2010 G37 X sedan has been having issues with the battery cable terminal being loose with the new Costco battery. After fixing the problem and getting a tight grip, I have noticed that my status panel keeps indicating that the average fuel consumption at 17.4/L. It should be 11.7/L up here in Montreal. I also have seeing more gas guzzling even if my driving habits have always been the same.

Any ideas why this is happening? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

John

Actually calculate your mileage over the next couple tanks. Changing the battery would have reset your consumption on the screen so if after changing it all you've done is idle or some short trips then that sounds quite possible.
