I don't have to drive much anymore due to me taking the train to work. What length of time is bad for fuel to sit in the tank? I mean I have not filled up since January 9th...gonna fill up this weekend. Is there anything I should do or keep an eye on?

 

If you use name-brand gas, you can probably let it sit for years. If you're worried at all, add some Stabil to the tank per the instructions.

 

you'll be fine. fuel does not break down in a months time.

 

Hell I had fuel sitting in the tank for close to a year and the car fired right up no problem. Only advice I could offer is to keep the tank full. Additional air space could cause condensation.

 

Your battery's life may be diminished by the long sabbaticals. Invest in a battery tender or equivalent smart maintainer device. I have a 1.25A and a 3A battery tender (deltran) models.

 

like Jsolo said battery tender, if you have a plug nearby.

and a fuel stabilizer if you are worried about it.

 

I will be filling up tomorrow. Its been at a bout 1/4 tank for about a week

Oddly enough, I went to start it today and...dead! I have a jump pack to get it started thank god

Don't have a garage anymore so no plugs to use. I'll just have to get creative and i'll have to try to drive it a little more
