battery drain

battery drain

2009 G37x- Battery drains over night. if the car isn't drive one day it wont start the next day. 2 nd new battery :-(

do you have things plugged into the outlets in your car over night? other wise you have a short somewhere. do you have an alarm on the car? use a multimeter and check the current draw on the battery then work through all your fuses and see where most of the draw is coming from. good luck.

i had to do this on my old c5 corvette and it was a pain in the ***.

Google parasitic drain test. There is a video on YouTube by Eric the car guy that shows exactly how to figure out what is causing the drain.

I have the same problem. this is my 2nd new battery in 2 years. almost couldn't start after work last week. I have my LED drl tapped into my ACC fuse. could this be the problem? but the DRLs stays off when the car is off.. could they still draining my battery?

Stock oem battery requires distilled water the chambers it's a serviceable battery not sealed

Instead of just guessing perform a Parasitic Drain Test

I even did the searching for you to find the vid
