Jack that can reach the front jack point on lowered G?

^ ^ ^ So I've been using this type of jack on the pinch welds of my G out of pure ignorance, and now the pinch welds are pretty messed up. I could buy one of those hockey puck adapters, but to avoid any further damage to the pinch welds, I wanted to invest in a jack that would be able to reach the front jacking point that's right next to the plastic undertray.

I am lowered about 2-2.5 inches, so I'm not too sure what jack would be able to reach. I was thinking maybe the the 3-ton, low-profile jack by Pittsburgh (Harbor Freight) would fit, but I wanted to post here to see if anyone here could vouch for a jack that would reach that front jacking point on a lowered G.

I have the low profile jack from Harbor, and it won't reach on a lowered car, it'll hit the air dam before it gets to that jack point. That's probably still your best bet, and what I've done is use a second jack (the stock scissor one works fine - but I have another lightweight jack in addition) to lift one side of the vehicle enough to get the low profile one under. Takes some work, but it works.

Or you can drive up on some blocks of wood.

It seems Harbor Freight has a 2 ton jack with a slightly longer reach, like 5 inches maybe (http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-l...ump-60678.html).

Do you think you the extra 5 inches will be able to reach the front jack point? If not, I may just DIY a pair of those small wooden ramps.

I have that jack from harbor freight, if you're lowered it will not reach. If you are stock height it may though

My stock w 17 inch rim barely reach w a tad scrap so no the low profile harbor will not work. U need a piece of wood to drive on to raise before u can apply the low harbor
