climate control hot/cold blending issue?

climate control hot/cold blending issue?

hey ive seen someone post a very similar problem but it didn't seem to have been resolved or resolution wasn't posted.

when I set climate control to 60 is blows cool air, @ 61 same thing but 62 & higher is blows really hot air like its on 90. any help would be greatly appreciated!!
...yes a/c works perfectly fine

car is 2014 Infiniti Q60 17k miles
no warranty

Try checking out the fsm, there should be a trouble shooting flow chart. My guess would be a blend door or hot water valve control problem.

its my wife's car & she likes it hot so she doesn't even notice theres a issue, but I need it fixed cuz it annoys they hell out of me whenever I drive it

yea initially im thinking blend door but I don't want to assume & start replacing parts unnecessarily

mine does the same, but only on the lower vent. i measured it, and its 12-20 degrees warmer down below, unless its set to 60-61. if its off, there always seems to be warm air trickling out below on my feet.

mentioned to dealer when i was in for my free oil change ... their conclusion: "tested operation on another vehicle, same result, working as normal."

you have to put the pressure on them dealers especially if you have warranty, don't let it go unchecked ...down the line when warranty is finished your gonna wish you had

...hopefully someone figures this out or at least points in the right direction ...thanks for keepin the thread alive

soo this may be a dumb question ...im assuming myG35 accounts were added to myG37? just noticed my old sig with 04 6MT G35 coupe is on here that was like 10yrs ago!!
