Blinker noise and beeps

I've noticed recently that the beeps that happen when you get in or out of the car have been muted occasionally. Also, when I turned my blinkers on today, I couldn't hear them inside the car. Is there a fuse that controls the volume of those two functions? Anyone else experienced this? 2008 G37S with 121K miles.

I swear I just started noticing the same thing within the last 2 weeks. Some time I hear it and sometimes I don't.

I had that same problem.

Got in the car, turned it on, turned the blinker on, then the headlight on, turned blinker off, then headlight off. That seemed to reset it.

It was that or some variation of that.

Turns out I've been dealing with this problem for the last two years. It wasn't some reset procedure that needed to be done. I had to actually replace the speaker that was attached to the instrument cluster board.

I had to remove the instrument cluster, desolder the old speaker and solder in a new one. Not terribly difficult, but I didn't readjust my gas gauge meter properly so it looks like I 've got 1/8 tank more gas than I really do.

And here I was going to suggest you check your blinker fluid.
