ECM or TSB update?

So I'm convinced that my throttle lag has something to do with the computer.
Ive blame a stuck caliper. But it's not
I've resetted the ecu over night by taking the negative terminal part of the battery
Also did other ecu reset with the gas pedal and ignition
I've clean my tb and mad no luck
Ive change my spark plugs
Nothing.
I have an 09 sedan g37x approx 89,250 miles on it
No warranty
So after researching it seems a lot of g37 owners are plagued with this issue where there's a lag when you depress on the gas pedal and the car doesn't down shift right away.
I will literally have to fully depress on the gas pedal to make the car go.
It's quite annoying and ruining my experience with this car.
I've seen people going with the ground kit
Or something about ecutek or uprev tuning.
Or have the dealer update the ecm or tsb
I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.
If I go the dealer route
How much is it and which one should I do ecm or tsb?

I think a transmission update will help. I believe there a total of 3. I got mine done at Camelback Infiniti but I was under warranty I think it's about 150 or so for the updates. You should call a local dealer and ask.

You know why the G gets such good city EPA mileage? Because Infiniti programed the TCU to hang on to the highest gear possible for as long as possible. That means you have to kick the car in the head (smash the throttle) for the TCU to understand you want a downshift.

I hear that there are two TSBs related to the trans program and both help a bit. Me, I say "Eff it" and drive in manual mode all the time.

I recently had both ECM and transmission updates done, and it's night and day better. I was also frustrated by the 1+second lag after flooring the gas as well as the off-throttle coast > moderate throttle hesitation. Both are completely gone, and I'm a happy camper.

I really hope it works for mine when I do get it done. I've heard some people doing the updates and it comes back or just minimizes the lag.

I can't really live with it, i like the instant response like on my previous g35x.
Especially around traffic it sucks, people are like honking at me lol and they try to pass me. Its not my fault
