has anyone changed thier own driveshaft carrier bearing?

Im int he middle of replacing mine as its vibrating like a son of a and im stuck trying to get the actual bearing off the driveshaft. It's pressed on but the rubber around it makes it impossible to use a puller on as it just stretches rather than pull the bearing off. If anyone else has done this do you have any insight as to how to get this thing off?

thanks

solved it on my own

In case anyone else finds this. Turns out if you cut the outside metal rings off you can get your puller on harder material closer to the bearing and it will pull off. The outside rings are just held on by soft rubber easily cut and trimmed down to the core bearing.

Good to know. Can you describe the conditions that you were seeing/feeling?
