IIC Sensor Question

ICC Sensor Question
Hey, first of all I'm not to sure if I'm posting this in the right section so please excuse me if i did
So today I was looking for my block heater cord as temperatures begin to fall. Stupid me thought that the ICC sensor was an "opening door" for the tow hook. I figured the Allen screw there was to slide it open
well anyways after some fiddling around I realized I was wrong, but problem is the screw is now stripped. Is that screw basically just and adjustment for the projection of the sensor, or did I really mess something up here
