gurgling fluid sound from glovebox!!need help plz
hello everyone!!i just bought my 2012 g37 coupe 6 months ago.Recently i noticed the fluid gurgling sound from glovebox area.the car is under warranty so i went to dealership. The answer is 'the sound' coming from fuel tank bla bla.I was totally lost...
I read lots of threads talking this! most of them said it cause air trapped in coolant system.I want to describe my car symtoms to get the exact help thanks in advance!
1 it happens after i drive the car for a while
2 the sound ONLY happens when i hit brake NOT during m driving(nor rpm high)
3 I can hear more i hit brake hard or i go downhill
4dealership do replace a bypass coolant hose during this visit but they told the sound is fuel transferring from fuel tank

Are you using the air conditioner? While the A/C is running, does water drain on the ground under the car near the area underneath the glove box? Has your passenger side floor ever been wet?
one more thing may relate,i always have to use front winshield defrost botton when i just started driving the car during night time.
thanks a lot for replying
That doesn't look like a lot of condensate for running 15 minutes. Check the drain tube for blockage. Get under the car and look for a white piece of tubing hanging down beneath the area where you hear the noise. Ream it out with something and see if you dislodge anything and debris and water come out.

heater core issue or cooling system needs to be burped. there is air trapped in the cooling system. i had gurgling in the dash when i had my cooling system flushed.
i've seen this done with a 2 liter soda bottle as well.

Given that the OP reports this happening only after the car has run for a while (so fully warmed up) and either upon hard braking or heading downhill, it seems (to me) the most plausible explanation is that it is indeed the gurgling sounds of water displacing air trapped in the heater core.
BTW, I think that youtube video shows a needlessly complicated and expensive way of burping the system, as there are two bleeder ports already provided on our cars. Even on cars without bleeder ports, you can just stick the end of your average 99 cent funnel down into the radiator and it will seal well enough to do the same thing. With a little planning and a few paper towels you could sure save yourself the extra $23 anyway.

I had the same problem in my M37...when I hit the brakes sounded like water was in my dash...they tried to purge the heater core and it turned out they couldn't remove the blockage so the had to replace it.
Have them purge the system again but you might have the same issue I had...this occurred around 60k...thank God for the extended warranty.
