Lighting issue

So... I fuc.ked up. I was adjusting my city lights as one of the led's had come loose.. so in my infinite wisdom I took a piece of tin foil and put it around the light housing to get a snug connection. I figured low voltage, it wouldn't make a difference.. done the same thing with batteries and such. How wrong I was!
Anywho... as I put the light back in, there was a little pop and all the lights went off. The low beams, high beams, fogs, blinkers and tails still work.. but the city lights and side markers will not turn back on. I replaced the bulbs and still nothing. I checked all 3 fuse boxes and found no blown fuses.

So now I'm open to suggestions as what to do.. should I detach the battery and basically reset the car? Or just bite the bullet and take it to the ****in dealership since they can just plug a computer to it and figure out what it is instantly. Thanx

Yup ^

Best to take it there before you mess around anymore.
Just explain the whole situation.
