Is the inspection check list meant for the owner to check or the infiniti tech to check off? Do you give the booklet to them?

Getting oil, filter and lube done tomorrow for the 15000 mile point. Does the complementary multi point inspection cover everything the guide lists at that point?

 

I have found that each Infiniti dealer will handle things differently. But for me in NC none of them required you to hand them a checklist, so its more for your records. They will give you a multipoint printout at the end. They keep their own records on their computers, and I'm not sure if all Infiniti dealers can see each others records about your car. The multipoint inspection handles the same basic things every time you visit.... so no not everything is covered, just the basics regardless of your mileage at the time.

Another observation.... Some dealers will make suggestions, others will do only what you ask for, some go strictly by the book. The best thing to do on here is find out what people really get done on here at each mileage milestone and just use the checklist as a guide. You will also find that you can save money by doing the easy ones yourself and let them do the harder ones.

Just ask for an oil change. Often if you purchase the oil filter from parts and leave it in the car and tell service you have the filter it will come out cheaper

Purchase new Air Filters and a cabin filter and do those yourself
