Recommended maintenance while doing upgrades

Hey guys,

So I have a G37xS sedan with 54k miles. I am going to be installing coilovers, adjustable camber arms and an Akebono brake upgrade.

While I am in there, is there anything else maintenance-wise that would be a good idea to replace at this point?

Thanks!

Idk if the AWD will be any different, but on a RWD I'd recommend upgrading the differential bushings as they will eventually go bad and start to leak. Just had to do this myself.

Thanks for the response, I will look into that. Am also considering bushings and other suspension parts as possibilities too.

Anyone else have any input?

Not sure about the front end links on the X but I replaced mine on my RWD when I installed my coilovers, had about 40k at the time.

Going on a lift? might as well do the gear oil while there. I would also look at that bushing mentioned, I will have to replace mine soon and I'm not really too excited about it. If you can get it out of the way now it's probably better that in popping while you're driving about anyway.

Thanks blnewt and cecrops for your input. I should take a look at my endlinks and see how they look. Will be on a lift, so that will help with some of the maintenance for sure.

Look forward to seeing your G after all those upgrades, what wheels are you going with for that setup? Have you considered a sway bar upgrade, that would also be a good time to get that done if you're considering doing that down the road.

Thanks Brad. I am hoping the Fortune Auto coils come soon, want to see how it all turns out too. I have a set of chromed coupe 19" already on the car, and the stock 18" duckfeet wheels should clear the Akebono's for my winter setup. Every year I have changed summer setups, so it may change again.

All this endlink talk is definitely making me consider upgrading the sway bars now...I guess it fits with my build of making the xS sedan that Infiniti should have (minus the manual transmission).
