Cel p0447

My car just threw code P0447 yesterday. I have tried removing and replacing the gas cap on tight and the code still comes back. Has anyone had any experience with this issue and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Vent tube that your gas tank uses to vent gas flow is known for going bad

And theres a TSB and extended warranty that Infiniti will only honor after you've forked over $350 for a diagnosis and inspection. Better be real broke before you take it in.

its just a few screws, the pressure sensor connector, and a couple hose clips..(about half of wthe stuff you'd be disconnecting anyways just to change the valve), but either way if the problem is solved its solved doesn't really matter which way you do it, good luck

If you are in warranty or just a little over they should cover. I had some out of warranty work similar and my dealer did repairs under goodwill
