Anything to be concerned about, or is it as stright forward as it sounds?

I posted the DIY and have done this install myself so I can give you my experience with this step specifically. I installed the pedal as detailed in the DIY and then started the car after I finished. The initial start-up was completely normal, nothing unusual occurred, no warning lights etc. I DID NOT attempt to drive the car without following the procedure (very simple and straightforward) in fear of something unusual happening. I felt silly doing the procedure since you do not notice anything happening, but the car is just checking, and double checking where the fully released position of the pedal is. After the procedure was completed, I drove the car and it functioned exactly the same as it did with the old pedal.

Please feel free to ask me any questions that come up about the install, i would be more than happy to help. It was definitely a worthwhile install and I would not even consider going back!
