Upper and lower rad hose replacement

My G37 is starting to form a bit of coolant leak from the upper hose, I also noticed dried coolant under the driver side (Thermostat area), I am aware that is my lower rad hose but I'm not positive it's a bad hose or the thermostat itself is defected, or thermostat gasket. I ordered the oem hoses, just in case and looking to tackle this job since the weathers been nice. I'm wondering if I have to "burp" the radiator if I'm replacing the hoses ( upper & lower )

I believe my car is under warranty still for the thermostat but I don't know 100% until I replace the hoses or do a compression test. I do not want to bring the car into Infiniti to find out it was just a bad hose when I'm really there for warranty work. ( don't want to pay tech to replace lower hose )I drive a 2008 Infiniti g37s with 92,500 km

Ps I called a few dealerships some say its covered some don't..

probly gonna have to drain the coolant system so you dont make a mess. Im pretty sure theres a DIY for that on here.
