Betty, is your G37 a sport? I read in another thread that you should use an additive for the LSD in the sport. Did you not need it after using the redline or amsoil?

No, I changed at 30K and that's it. Almost 60K on the current interval. I haven't used Red Line in this car yet but they're quality products and I've used them in other cars in the past with good results.

Yes I have 6MT. Didn't use it for the Amsoil, no noise. Red Line specifically says it contains friction modifier and its not necessary to add any more unless you have chatter in which case you're supposed to add an ounce of friction modifier at a time until it stops.

Quick summary,
1.5 quarts needed for differential oil
And
3.4 quarts for manual transmission oil

Think he's mean to say the washers, I reused mine, don't see reason why it needs to replaced imo.

Fluid measurement sounds about right via FSM, but I just filled it up until it started leaking out from the fill plug. Remember let the fluid drain all out from the fill plug til it stops leaking then is when you plug it up.

Betty says that the manual recommends replacing it, I'm sure it's only like a dollar. So just get it.

Supposed to replace them each change. Not really necessary IMO. I didn't. They're only a couple of bucks though if you want peace of mind.
