Hi all.

Was wondering if anyone has or had a similar issue. I noticed while driving the car that there's slight crackling / clicking sounds that seem to come from the dashboard. The car is only 3 months old so I'm not sure if it's temperature related, but the sounds do occur more frequently during hot weather before the interior has a chance to cool down.

The had the windshield replaced (OEM) due to scratches (dealer forgot to remove blade protectors before running wipers). After reading about the windshield cowl noises on the 2008 and 2009 models, I'm wondering if the noise is possibly windshield related. The windshield was replaced within a week of ownership and I can't recall whether or not the noise was there before the swap.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the issue, especially if you're a 2011 owner and notice the same noise.

I've had this issue from day 1 of my G37xS sedan 2k9, my wife's 2k8 G35 sedan does it too, but much less -- when you press the plastic pieces on the side of the dash.. you can recreate the creaking...

seems like this is something easily remedied at the factory with felt tape.. oh well
