I've had my car for almost 6 months now. I've always just assumed that I didn't have illuminated kick plates because there's obviously no illumination down there. The other night though on the passenger side, there was a blue LED light just chillin down there. I have noticed that same LED on the drivers side before when I was installing my push to start, but I never put two and two together. Neither of them work though. It's weird because it was just that night where it happened to come on. Is there something that I don't know here that I should or are the lights just out...

 

Someone probably did a homemade lighting mod. Look at the LED bulbs to see if they are burnt out. Figure out where wires connected to the LEDs run to and determine if there is a loose cable or if there is some kind of switch connected to the circuit.

 

The guy before me leased it, so I don't think he did it himself considering how that would probably be the only thing he did. I'll deff check things out that you mentioned though. Thanks.

 

I never looked on mine, but do we have puddle lights? The lights that shine out from under the door so you can see where you are stepping in the dark? If so, they may actually stay on when you close your door for a little bit. Or are you saying the INFINITI was lit up?
