Is there any reprogramming to do if the battery was disconnected?

I will be installing my new CAI this weekend. Instructions suggest disconnecting the negative battery terminal before installation. Perhaps due to the disconnection of the MAF's. I do intend to follow this suggestion.

Will I lose my seat position/ audio presets / Nav setup / phone setup , etc.

Will I have to reprogram all this again?

You can install without disconnecting The battery. If decide to disconnect you will lose radio presets n I think you will have reset your windows. I believe nav set up/phone don't get affect it but don't take my word for it.

I just got an old cig lighter plug and wired it to a 9V battery. When I disconnect the battery just plug it in and you won't lose any presets.
