Oil Change at Nissan Dealer - Keep receipt?

I am going to get my 7500 mile service done at a Nissan dealer as it is much cheaper. Will this automatically get logged into Infiniti's system or will I need to hold on to the receipt(s) for proof?

I have a 2009 g37xs sedan. Do I need to rotate my tires or just rebalance?

When I get my oil change done at the closer Nissan dealer, I save receipt and have Infiniti service update when I get over there. Nissan isn't apparently connected in with Infiniti computer system. Either that or the Nissan dealer here is computer illiterate and that's possible, but best to save all those receipts in case you ever need to go to the mat on some warranty issue. You only need to rebalance if you're noticing vibration or uneven wear.

It is probably possible to look it up in the computer, but i would always save every single receipt related to the G. I have a file in my filing cabinet with every single receipt related to the car. You never know when you might need it

So the tire rotation is not needed on a 2009 sport sedan? I just need to get the tires balanced? I have noticed some vibration

It's not a maintenance requirement to get them balanced. But if there's something wrong, feel free to do whatever you want.

if you have a sport you should NEVER be rotating the tires. they are staggered so the rears are wider than the fronts

Also you should not even be able to rotate them as there is a blocker bolt on the front rotors

Okay thanks guys!

Nissan dealer is offering $65 for ester oil change + tire balance/rotation which is half of what infiniti wanted.

I would just pay them for the tire balance (again you should NOT be rotating your tires) and then DIY the oil change. It'll cost you like $30 for everything

I am constantly traveling for work so I really do not have time to change my own oil unfortunately.

Why should I not rotate my tires? I thought the 2009 g37xs sedan had same size tires for rears and fronts?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Damn. Yeah, the X has tires that *do* need to be rotated. I saw where you were asking about if the tires didn't need to be on the "sport" sedan, and thought you meant the S, with staggered tires.

Let me revise then:
Rotate tires every 7500 miles as per the manual. Re-balancing is not required.
