cruise light on set light flashing
cruise light on set light flashing
today while driving my cruise light came on and the set light is flashing. dont know what in means or how to get it to stop. tried pressing all the cruise buttons, and turned the car off and back on with no change. any one have any idea whats going on.

CRUISE Intelligent Cruise Control(ICC) system warning light
(orange; if so equipped)
This light comes on if there is a malfunction in
the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system.
If the warning light comes on, park the vehicle
in a safe place. Turn the engine off, restart the
engine, resume driving and set the ICC system
again.
If it is not possible to set the system or the
indicator stays on, it may indicate that the system
is malfunctioning. Although the vehicle is
still driveable under normal conditions, have the
vehicle checked at an INFINITI dealer.

Which one applies to your specific situation? Either way the dealer is the only one who can give you the right answer.

I don't have the icc cruise just the standard cruise. so it sounds like the one from page 2-21. I downloaded the fsm but it seams to only list the icc system. O well I guess I will have to take it in to the dealer if the problem continues. I waited half and hour and went out and started the car and the light was then out. if any one else has experienced this I would like to here what the problem is.

Nismo, Just had similar problems with ICC in my G. Problem went away and then
reappeared multiple times after pulling and resetting fuse (the fuses were not blown).
I took it to the dealer and they "recalibrated" the radar system to fix the issue.

the problem came back....
then they replaced the ECU....
the problem came back....
then they replaced the brake switch.....
the problem came back....
and they finally replaced the clutch switch, and it has been fixed now and working for about two weeks. Just take it in, it should be throwing a code.
