SES - code P0456
SES - code P0456
Hi,
I have 2009 G37S about 2,400 miles.
Got a SES light, went to AZ got the reader - code P0456 (EVAP leak ....)
Deleted error code, gas cap was't tight, so I tighten it.
2 days later, SES came back. I guess there is a leak somewhere.
I will take it for service. Just want to see who else has the same issue.
By the way, I also have 2008 Nissan Pathfinder.
Had the same issue a year ago, weird.

I have had it a few times already (and so have others). Just last week the dealer performed a full evap system leak test and found the gas cap to be leaking (after it was checked previously...)
Fingers crossed that this fixes the problem

^ do you smell any fuel? Go sit in your back seat and smell for it. Also check your engine bay for any fuel smell. Another thing is check for vacuum leaks around your intake pipes
