I just got a Service Engine Light. Never bottomed out (drive like a grandma). Not sure why or whats going on but I have an appt for Thursday.

 

LOL .. i went to the dealership yesterday guys and i know that the SEL is on because i bottomed out like a month ago. I bottomed out like really hard, and as soon as my car hit the floor the SEL came right on !

Well i went and they checked out the code and said its a Air Flow problem. I asked them what is causing it and they said that they couldnt tell me cuz i have aftermarket intakes and exhaust put on.

The guy told me to go home and put the stock parts back on and bring it back in and theyll help me out. What do u think i should do ?

Personally, im pretty sure its one of the HFC that failed when i slammed the car on the floor or maybe the exhaust has a leak ? Those are the 2 things on my mind that can possibly be causing an airflow problem.

So should i put my stock exhaust back on or what ? Man i dont even know how to put on those crazy stock intakes =[ this is gonna suck !
