Someone should make a quick picture of this for the forums benefit... Im sure this question has crossed members minds at least once during the first year of ownership....

I haven't dropped my car yet so it might change. But I put a rag over my jack and jacked where the lower front control arm meets the front rear crossmember. Go in right behind the front wheels.
If you get out the jack in the trunk, there's a great diagram on the side of it. About a foot behind the front wheels, and about a foot in front of the rear wheels, there are two small notches in the car's frame. The jack point is directly between these two notches. If you look under the car and run your hand along the frame rail, you'll feel the little notches. Hope this helps!
