No. I just developed it. Or just noticed it. It sounds like a higher pitched metallic rattling. Not low or gurgling at all. At least that's what mine sounds like.

The rattle at start up isn't the same thing as the constant rattle. I had only the startup rattle at first. Now I have the all the time rattle. I'll be taking it in to get replaced. Then promptly be taking the new one right off to replace it with the Tanabe.

mine is only rattling at start-up too. I'm sure it will eventually progress to the full-time rattle.

Not to highjack but I have a different sound. Muffler has been replaced once and the sound is back. I will try to describe as close as possible to what i hear.

After taking delivery in Feb i noticed the car getting louder under normal driving. Saw the TSB for the muffler on this board so I take it in for an oil change and the TSB. Funny, but the dealer replaced one of the cats first then the muffler per the TSB and all was good. But in the last month this is the sound I get. Start up is fine but when I accelerate and the gears shift its almost a cross between a metallic rasp and the waste gate of a turbo releasing when the car does a 1/2 shift and less so on the 2/3 shift. Under full throttle its bad all through the gears. WTF? At idle car is quiet and burbly, not a hint of some of the rattles I hear from video on this site. I plan to get this re-addressed by the dealer but does anyone else have the same or similar sound?

well i had mine replaced when i got my car. it was most noticeable at idle. i was doing a walk around of my car while it was idle and it was rattling. kind of sounded like the license plate bracket was loose. so i checked that and it was coming from the exhaust.

best way to describe what i had is a metallic rattle...i know that doesnt help much

if you have any kind of rattle in your exhaust, i would take it in to the dealer. im starting to think i have developed another rattle...

Great, thanks guys....now I am paranoid that I will be getting the rattle. At least for now all I have is the gurgle. I swear when I am in low throttle it sounds likes I have some little elf in the engine bay gargling listerine. Sounds gross.
