When I lock my car w/the key chain, it doesn’t beep anymore.
How do you fix that?

Sorry, found it......

Hold down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time, on the key chain, for a couple seconds. It switches modes back to beeping.

 

awesome.. mine stopped beeping a long time ago. and i never looked into it, but I'm glad I ran across this thread...

press the lock and unlock at the same time hold for 3seconds or so and then try it again unlock+lock to disable horn while locking or to re-enable it

 

what do you mean beep? the horn goes off for a half second correct?

Mine didn't beep, just the lights flashed.

 

hm... weird... did you fix it? that might be a good thing tho.. i think the horn sounds a bit cheap.

 

Yes it fixed it. I can always switch back by doing the same procedure.

 

I did it to my girl's Titan just for kicks... It was funny cuz she kept trippin out, she thought one of the doors were open because she didn't hear it honk... lol
