Differnet specs for US/Europe/Middle East G37

Can anyone tell me what are differences in specs from one market to another for the G37?

I live in Dubai, and my car has differnet interior/engine mods. I think its related to the cooling system/radiator and AC (Because of the HOT weather here).

the G37 powe specs here are 350hp (Gross), 333hp (net). does net mean 'at the wheel'? or bhp?

Appreciate all the input I can get.

First off 350 and 333 does not sound right. Ours are 330 then you loose about 18-20% at the crank so most are putting down around 270-280 stock. If you are 350 then you should be actual of 280-295.

It does sound strange, however those figures are printed in the Infinity G37S booklet for cars sold in the Middle East. I also was made aware by other threads in the forum that my car revs lower at highway speeds. For example at 88mph (140 KmH) on a level rd. with the AC on my car revs at exactly 3000 rpm. At 100mph on the same rd., same conditions I rev 3400rpm!

Other G37 owners say that they are doing 75-80mph at 3K.

I have a 5AT S model.

Does that mean I have more power to play with??

What could be the case?

5AT gearing is different, but it doesn't mean you have more power to play with. If 6MT models have 6 gears, it would make sense for us to be at 80mph at 3k rpm. While having 5 gears everything would have to be longer. You would get more mph per rpms.

could be possible. im not sure.. You could have the exact same setup, and its just tested differently for the middle east so the numbers are different. or you could have more power as maybe you dont need to pass as much emissions stuff?

Dunno..

Hey there.. Am in the process of getting my g37s in the middleeast too. we do have different specs

http://www.infiniti-me.com/gcoupe/specs.htm

We basically get one model instead of three, its the g37s, except with a 5 speed automatic instead of the manual, Dvd instead of harddisk too.

about the power different, i was into the g35 before changing my mind, my salesman said that the middleeast g35 has around 26 more hp due to a different fuel injector amongst other details, this might ring true for the g37s too?
