painting grill?

painting grill?

i seen few grill that has been painted... did you just spray paint it on top of oem grill? or did you sand the oem grill and primer it before you paint the grill

Definitely sand with a fine sand paper and repaint.

Sand it, primer, paint, and clearcoat. This is the only way to do it right. Preferably professionally done.

im gonna do a DIY in a week after this saturdays meet in socal....3m sand paper, primer, iim going to be going with semi gloss black, and clear coat on top

Naw but i will soon since im going to be takign my grill off and painting it with a compressed spray gun instead of the usual spray paint cans

Well my shop sanded, primer, painted then clear coated too

But why would you want to create a new DIY for this? Ever heard of the search button? lol
