Black our Grill DIY Guide

( lol subject is supposed to be Black out Grill DIY Guide but now i cant fix it =/ ) you only need 1 can of paint

1. First remove the grill from the car (thats a pain in the a$$)
Sand the grill down with 100 grit sandpaper, here it is fully sanded

2. Apply the first coat of primer, I used Dupli-Color filler primer then a 2nd coat.

3. three out of three coats of ( Dupli-Color high temp Gloss Black):

4. three out of three coats of clear-coat is dry:

5. finished product back on car

1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove reservoir tank. Refer to CO-15, "Removal and Installation".
3. Remove radiator core support ornament. Refer to DLK-214, "Removal and Installation".
4. Remove front grille mounting nuts (A).
5. Disengage pawls (A) of fixing front grille.
6. Pull front grille out toward vehicle front.
7. Remove the following parts after removing front grille.

basic idea is take the black cover off in front of engine bay area. (about 10 bolts 10mm size and 6 plastic clips, with a screwdriver. Remove the 2 bolts that hold the radiator catch tank and slide it back, then push it back towards rear of car and slide it over to ***** that stick out near radiator catch tank. Then undo the 7 pinch-push clips and 2 pull clips from the inside and black cover will come off. Lastly remove the 5 screws on the inside of the grill and then pinch and push the 4 clips holding the grill in. Mt. Fuji symbol removes easily.
