I need help on what cold air to buy. I’m looking at the standard z1 2.5 inch intake, but i want the 3 inch for bigger power gains. Would it be worth it to just buy a cheap intake and wait to save up for the ecutek flash tuner, or is there an intake that actually makes a difference in throttle response, etc that’s cheap and doesn’t require a tune ? I’m new to the whole air intake thing and want to make sure i’m gonna be okay running without a tune for a while

 

The 2.5" is much more cost effective since it doesnt need a tune right away.

The 3" has shown to provided 5whp over the 2.5", Kevan of 3rd pedal media on youtube, has made a video on this.
