Trans issue after gallery gasket job

As title states. Couple weeks back I did the gallery gasket job. I took the whole front end off and disconnected the trans cooler lines in the process. I was losing fluid and I capped it off but when I came back to work on it the next morning, one of the caps was on the ground and I’m not sure how much fluid I lost overnight. Since then, When I drive my car on a cold transmission and come to a stop, the car feels like it goes into neutral and then goes back to drive. Any ideas on how to fix this? When the trans is warm tho, I don’t experience any issues and it runs fine. This only happens on a cold tranny. What should I do?

Double check the fluid level.
double check your ground wires.
Maybe some crud got into the system.
Might wanna drop the pan and at least clean out the filter.
if it is crud, might have to pull the valve body, perfect time to install a shift kit!!

Thanks. I’ll give that a shot. Also, theres a shift kit for the AWD 7At?
