My 2009 g37 journey vibrates

When I first turn my car on, my 2009 g37 journey vibrates. It sounds as though it's coming from the front drivers side. Then it will vibrate in reverse to get out of the driveway. After putting it into drive, I can not notice a vibration. Any suggestions on what it may be??

Start with the easy stuff. Open the hood and tap lightly around the engine compartment to see if anything is loose. The plastic engine cover can vibrate and make noise as you described. Check to see if the bolts are tight and tighten if loose. If it still buzzes after tightening you’ll have to figure out a way to isolate the cover from the intake manifold with rubber washers, etc. You’ll have to take off the cover to do that.

Also, one time I had the wiper fluid reservoir cap get a little cockeyed and rubbed adjacent parts and make all sorts of buzzing noises. I simply repositioned it to remedy the noise.

One last thing - check the clamps on the intake hoses to make sure they’re tight.

Hopefully you just have something buzzing and nothing big broken.
