Exclamation Do the G37 fuel rail dampers go bad?

Video after heavy pull 2 weeks before it sat and recovered performance ^

(ignore the first post, forgot to remove my old account, I don't get notifications)
The easy to get one was already replaced. For some context I've dealt with intermittent acceleration loss, no gas pedal response for a few seconds (happened only once 2 years ago and it was in an intersection before came back to life) worse gas economy and overall abysmal performance the longer time goes on (wanting to accelerate like a nissan versa). 3 weeks ago the problem was like the last symptom and after 4 years of trying I just decided to send it as hard as I could, 4 or 5 times. It started idling EXTREMELY ROUGH, was louder and shook a bit at idle too. The video was part of what was going on. I took it home, let it sit for 2 weeks, for the first time ever it has performed the best it ever has, even after turning it back on it was fine however after some driving the other day a hint of it was returning. I'm thinking about getting a fuel pressure test because that's one of the few things I haven't done yet for the issue. When I first bought the car, one time it didn't want to turn on and we forced it by holding the gas pedal down and a fuel pump code. I don't remember the code I think it was a p0230. Anyway when driving back I remember black smoke showing while my dad limped it home. We left some heet in it and it was never a problem again. Fast forward 4 years later. With all these symptoms, I'm guessing it's time for a fuel pressure test and maybe need to replace the fuel pump. I'll have to see if it wants to come all the way back though in order to get proper results on the test. :/ Any other advice or possible suggestions would be appreciated!
