2010 G37x Overheating when idle

I need help trying to figure out why car is overheating I don’t see no wet spots on the ground but my coolant reserve is overflowing I changed the radiator cap Al ready and I just put in a new radiator because I thought it was the radiator but it wasn’t also I just added a new thermostat. So do anybody have any ideas what’s causing my car to run hot when it’s idle at a red light the temperature rises 75 percent up dam near full but when I start back driving it’s goes back half way.

I even bleed the system twice to see if it’s air in the system

another thing my car is running lean on bank 1 and two because of a exhaust leak but I have new y-pipes coming so I don’t know if that’s the case I’m trying to see if it’s a failing water pump.

Are BOTH of the fans turning ON?

This post will show you how to run the IPDM/er self-test. At full speed BOTH fans should be roaring loud moving air.

I had the exact same symptoms long ago. Everything was fine until I stopped at a long red light or a drive-thru (my bank the slowest on earth) the temp would start to spike but quickly cool down to normal once moving. Fans were shot (beach sand killed the bearings).

I'm 99% confident your water pump is fine.

Run the self-test and go from there.

Well the fans are moving but it is hard to tell if they are running at full speed. It seems like they are but... I just can't tell.

Are you able to determine if the fans "ramp up" when going from 50% duty to 100% duty? You might have to run the test a few times to be certain. But they should run for 5aec. at 50% duty (medium) and then ramp up to 100% duty (full speed) for 5 more seconds at which time they should be roaring.

And you need to verify that BOTH fans are running at the same speeds.
