Engine Air Intake Hose Replacement Questions

My 2013 G37X has cracked Engine Air Intake Hoses. While I usually have the car serviced at my local dealership, the quote for this job left me with a case of "you've gotta be kiddin' me" sticker shock.
After a look under the hood it doesn't appear to be a difficult job to replace them, but experience has taught me that there's frequently a step or sequence that we first-timers are not aware of.
I've searched this site and YouTube but haven't had any luck finding instructions or videos for doing this job.
Does anyone know where I can find this information?

It's easy, I have done it on an EX35 and G37. Buy the hoses from Amayama, the dealer is a rip off, that is where I got them for the EX35.

Just need a 10mm socket, then a smaller 7mm? for the MAF sensor screws. Then if you want an IN/lb torque wrench for the bolts, I think it is 49 IN/lbs for all of them and the MAF ones are 18 or something.

The FSM has directions on how it all comes apart.

I use K&N drop-ins with the Silicon Air Intake set from ConceptZ: https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-...34_p_17095.php

Silicon is better at the transfer of heat compared to rubber, so the car feels stronger with this setup.

There's no branding on the tubes, so I have gone through emissions several times with no issues here in CA (illegal to change anything after the MAF sensor), and the guys here pride themselves on finding modifications. Looks stock, just alot cleaner.

Thanks to both of you for your replies.

I purchased a pair of used air intake hoses from an ebay shop post. (The price was $700 less than the price quoted by my dealership.) Changing the hoses took about an hour - I had some trouble with the clamps - but it wasn't all that difficult.

I'm really glad that I was able to save some money on this repair because I've now got an exhaust leak that needs to be fixed.
