Best bet would be to check eBay or a local pull-a-part yard. You could probably just put a simple hose coupling/ connector in place of the resonator and call it a day as well.

thanks man, I'm going to a yard this weekend if necessary and see what I can find ...but this connects to another hose, not the fat piece
..what does it do? anything with air measure to emc type stuff?

From what I gather most delete these when installing aftermarket intakes, PCV deletes, OCC's and so on. I deleted.mine when I installed my R2C's over a decade ago with zero issues.In other words, they are not critical components.
If you can find a junkyard donor you'll be good to go. There are also several on eBay for various (ripoff) prices. Worst case get a small barb fitting, insert it in line, and drive on.
