Hello.
I recently swapped out my OEM headlights on my Q40 to some aftermarket headlights. When swapping the hardware over, I noticed the ballast has an O-Ring for it. If I installed the ballast on the new headlight without this O-Ring, what sort of issues could I run into? If I need to take the headlight out and put in the O-Ring, that's fine, but was curious as to what purpose the O-Ring serves and what types of issues I could see without (assuming it protects the ballast/internal components from water damage?)

Water can get on the internals of the ballast and ruin it I believe.

The O-Ring is: 26033-CD010
