Yea its been fun learning and doing all of this, just not sure what's causing that noise. But I'm gonna keep trying and hopefully I can fix it. Any chance it might not be related to brake system? I have only assumed that because the sound stops when I press the brake. Would there be any other part that gets affected like that when I brake?

I take it you just replaced the pads and did not replace or resurface the rotors? Either the pads were not properly bedded into the rotor or something is hitting the rotor (wear indicator/ dust shield/ or the "lip" the "mechanic" pointed out to you).

Did you bed the pads?

Yea so the first time I only did the pads and did not resurface or replace the rotors, and unfortunately I was unaware of the bedding process. And then after researching more, when I put in the new front rotors, I did the bedding process, but still did not replace rear rotors. So if that's the reason possibly, then I will be fixing that when my StopTech set gets here, I will definitely go bed the pads and make sure everything is greased properly. I will also make sure to check the dust shield again. Thanks for all your help! After I put the new brakes I'll update here.

This is what I always do, even with blank rotors.

Yea! So I fixed it when I just put the new rotors and pads in. After all your guys' help, I'm pretty sure its just because I didn't do much research before replacing brake pads for the first time, so I didn't really clean anything, regrease, or resurface the rotors and just popped new pads in. This past weekend I put new rotors and pads in and made sure to clean and regrease everything, and all is back to normal! Thanks guys!
