Springs

Hey guys- been trying to figure out which route -lowered 1" vs oem for sometime now lol and finally decided oem etc...going with kyb or koni suspension, but my question is , do I replace springs too? I've head they don't technically wear out...but don't want to do all the work just to have to go back and do the springs later...1st attempt at suspension replacement on this car...

Somewhat depends on the mileage. Do your shocks/struts even need to be replaced (i.e. are they leaking)? Many leverage the stock suspension for well over 100K miles with no issues.

So that's the thing ,no issue with leaks, though at speeds over 85 it seems like a bit more unsettled though it could be roads around here etc and not the suspension itself...I guess they were just due since the mileage was nearing 150k ...I didn't want to wait till they go so to speak...but also didn't want to replace components that maybe wouldn't improve the overall ride and thought the springs may qualify as such...

Shocks/Struts can definitely break down over time without any signs of external leakage. On my 2004.5 G35, I replaced the factory sport struts/shocks at 85K miles (no visible leakage) and their was a noticeable difference in damping.
