Thanks for catching the typo. I meant to say that the article/press kit stated that the 6MT was the only platform with the sport bumper/fascia: "The G37 Sport Sedan 6MT model features distinctive front fascia, headlights and sport side sills - which are also available as part of the Sport Package."
I see now that I misread and it does say the sport front end is part of the sport package. As you stated, there is no sport grill, just the black grill from the Aero Kit, which also included the rear spoiler.

Full disclosure, I actually bought my car in 2012 without realizing the front bumper, headlights, side sills and wheels were different on the sport package. I also didn’t appreciate how the rear bumper, front bumper, grille and headlights were different than the 2009 model. At the time the only thing in my head was getting a G Sedan with a 6MT. Couldn't see the forest for the trees, and didn't even realize the 6MT was rare until I tried to find one.
I learned about the package variations here on the community from guys like yourself. Since I was coming from a 2004.5 G35S, I understood the value of the "sport suspension" package. What was nice with the G35 is they offered the Sport Suspension package (Better wheels/tires, Springs and "Red" Struts/Shocks) as a $425 adder and did not require one to purchase the Premium package, which was $2200 and included the highly problematic Bose Stereo (Infiniti did a better job debugging the Bose setup in the G37) and a sunroof I’d never use. On the G37 Sedan, one had to purchase every package except the "Technology" package to get to the sport package. But as we've discussed here, the Sport Package on the G37 sedan was gold. I posted a pick of my window sticker as it contains the laundry list of the highly contested Sport Package options (paid below invoice for the car, not 40K - back in the 2013 this was possible). Now, if I could only figure out the Q50 sport package options as those are much more confusing compared to prior generations. I do know that if you buy a red sport, it contains just about every option. However, the RS is also a big cost adder even on used models.

I wonder if either of us thought we'd still have the G eleven years later. Good to see you on the forum, Zack.
I still have my 11 G37s and 06 G35x that replaced my 05 G35x that was totaled in 2019 i daily in the winter.
I bought a GT350R in 2020 but drive that in the summer.
No plans to get rid of the G37 ever, runs well and i still enjoy driving it. its mostly all stock and has been pretty reliable except i have a leaking rear diff bushing i need to attend to at some point.
Was reorganizing some papers and came across my car folder, here’s my window sticker for giggles.
Somehow my credit score was 808, at the ripe age of 25 (which makes little sense as I had basically no credit history way back then).
Oh, and I used the “Infiniti Personal Assistant” exactly zero times. Do people actually used that service? “Hi, carmaker, I’d like to make a reservation for four, whatever you recommend”

I think I've used it about as many times as the "Zagat Survey Restaurant Reviews"
I love seeing the old window stickers....
I like how they broke the packages out on mine. Any idea why your 6MT stickered almost 4K higher? I see the option for the upgraded OEM Spoiler/Grill (I added those later, a must for any sedan), but with the exception of "Speed Sensitive Power Sterrring (?)", all the other options are inline with my 7AT. I think.

Sales price was $36.5 + ttl. Believe the car was transferred from a different dealer, and the dealer I bought it from was struggling to move it. Not the deal of the century, but felt pretty good about the deal. Wild how this kind of discount is pretty unfathomable these days
Agree. Manufactures these days promote that they can sell the car at the window sticker price. Gone temporarily are the days of buying a new car $500 below dealer invoice.
I joined 3/11/2011, about three weeks after I bought the 2011 G37x Journey, and a week before the tsunami. I had them well into the holdback, paid <$31K OTD on a $42K sticker. By 4/1 they were getting sticker+.
I just ticked 91K on the odometer. This is my last car.
