200k Miles

Today, I hit a milestone of 200K miles in 10yrs and 2 months or so. 1st owner from 8miles. Running strong after transmission replacement around 160k. MPG running better than the 1st day; City drive is about 20MPG or so, would be less if gas wasn't high😁, HWY is about 27 to 29 (total avg is about 23/24MPG). Besides for a weird rattling noise she is perfect.

Wow, mine's about the same age, and I just hit 41,000 mi. At this rate, I'm not going to live long enough to reach 200,000, but it's reassuring to know that I could have!

I have HFC, thought that would be rhe issue since thise were damaged. I bought new set and the rattling was still there. What's odd, it roll forward and hit the brakes i can hear it, if i do the same in reverse, it's lounder, like lose peice of metal. Been like this for a year.

brake dust shield?

I think I would be at 200k now if I still had to commute to work. I went from driving 100+ miles a day, to maybe like 150 miles a month, at most now.

Dust shields were cut since I change my BBK to Akebonos. The heat shields on the manifolds are next to check out, but I don't think that's it.
Wow, Huge saving on gas too.

Another point to check is brackets that holds air intake boxes in place that bolted to the fenders. Sometimes bolts get loose and create loud noise when engine running.

Congrats on 200k! Curious about what the issue was with the transmission.

My stock intakes have been replaced with CAI. I'm putting it on the lift this week to check while I have my boy install a new rack n pinion.

Thanks, one morning, she was acting funny, speed drop like it was in limp mode, just before i got to work, power was gone, so i coast into a spot. The dealership gave me a P0732 Code. Was able to get a tranny with 36k miles. So far so good.

Congrats on 200k! I'm just around 50k so I may never reach 200k but good to know 200k is possible.

Thanks , didn't think I would have kept her for this long.

Question, for anyone, does the headlights lose it's brightness over time cause mine haven't been changed out since I got her? The only light that's out in the G is the clock light.
