What interior lights? The map and door "puddle" lights? Or the nighttime interior "illumination."

Did you also check the fuses in the IPDM/er- this is the large fuse box located next to the battery behind the fender...? There is a 10amp fuse- should be marked as "TAIL/ILLUMI-" that you should check.

Yes, I did do a visual on those fuses but did not realize that they were responsible for the interior lighting?
I will need to remove the battery to inspect properly.

When I checked the fuses by the drivers side lower panel (next to feet) I used a meter to check continuity.
Any help suggestions / appreciated.

Fuse #53 (10amp) marked "TAIL/ ILLUMI" in the IPDM/er also includes the interior, nighttime illumination function.

When the main headlamps are turned ON, the tail lamp relay also gets switched ON (to power the rear tail lights). The interior illumination gets its switching signal from the same relay.

ok, are you thinking it's the relay or fuse or both?
All the headlights, rear / tail lights, etc work - only the interior and trunk lights do not.

Any help suggestions / appreciated.

I would check the fuse with a multimeter. If that checks good, then you have to start checking wiring from that junction forward.

As a side note, did you check the BCM area for any water leaks?

Also, if you haven't already, download the factory manual for your specific car from here. You will need sections INL (Interior Lighting) and PG (Power & Ground) though I highly recommend you download the whole manual while it is still available.

ok, I will check the fuse with a meter.
It's just strange that all my lights work (dash, head unit / nav, exterior, etc) except interior lights & trunk.
I have read the dealer has a Nissan Consult tool that can check the BCM?

I do see individual pieces of the manual to download but not seeing a link for the entire manual.
Any help / suggestions appreciated.

Here's your Interior Lighting System FSM:
https://www.nicoclub.com/service-man...2013%2FINL.pdf
Scroll down below that window and you can "click here to download a copy".
Or from here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-service-manuals
Click "G35/G37/Q40", then click "G37", then "sedan", then "2013" and you are presented with the entire collection. "Power Supply, Ground and Circuit Elements" is the power and ground scheme for your entire car including wiring harness and connector info. It takes some decoding but all the info you should ever need is in these books - with thanks to the NICO club for keeping them available.

re: FSM... you will have to download each section individually (if you haven't already).

If none of the interior lights are working (Puddle, Map, Visor (vanity), or trunk) then the issue is with the BCM as that provides power and ground to those components. If fuses are good it could be a ground connection. It is just a matter of going through the wiring diagrams and checking everything step-by-step.

Side note, have you checked for any water leaks around the BCM area? Have you checked that all connectors are clean and tight? This is a known issue with these cars...

All CONSULT can do is individually "toggle" each circuit to determine a good/ no good condition. CONSULT will not tell you if there is a bad ground/ other wiring issue. It may be able to call up any BCM-specific trouble (fault) codes but in the end there is no substitution for hands-on testing of power, ground, continuity, etc.

All of this is documented in section INL of the factory manual that both 13_SkylineSedan and myself referenced above. With these type of electrical gremlins, there often is no "easy fix."

It's almost like a lost all power the all of the interior lighting - very strange.
I have started looking thru the manual. It would be nice to see what the Consult Tool shows...

Any help / suggestions appreciated.

So it looks like I have some corroded terminals on my BCM.

Does anyone know if the BCM is unique to the car?
Any help / suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
