Transmission leak quote thoughts?

Got my oil change done and new I needed my transmission services. 2013 g37xs 7 speed sedan. 97,000kms on the car (note prices are in cad so to convert use about 1.27 to usd)

the red circle shows a leak I am confused transfer case is leaking where it meets the transmission? But then the recommendation is real seal? And they said the transmission fluid would all leak out so I’m really confused maybe because it’s transfer case rear seal I’m not understanding? Anyone get this work done?

everything else is mileage related
-cabin air I did myself.
-transmission fluid (I don’t do a flush but will do a change to get new fluid in)
-diffs fluid change

thoughts on what I should do? I daily the car only about 10k kms a year. Am considering letting the car have no maintenance up to 150k or 200k kms then sell it as is for cheap. Or maybe I should do it and not worry about it making one of those markers.

got my eyes on a new sequoia and or ls500 to replace the g. It’s been rat bagged at this dealership so I lost faith in Nissan Infiniti.

Can't help with the leak part, but at a local Infiniti dealer here I spent $580 in December of 2020 to get a synthetic oil change, front & rear differential, transfer case and transmission fluid changed. I would say those prices are fairly high. I think I had a 10% off coupon but even without that it's still much cheaper.

Worst leak you could have, though some mechanics could replace this gasket by slightly lowering the transmission most will include a complete removal even though it can be managed in the car.
The gasket is a compressed paper/plastic gasket that does pretty well however since it's part paper road conditions will deteriorate it faster in colder climates.
